Neo Farmhouse
Our clients approached us to carefully renovate their beloved farmhouse. The style they requested was rustic but contemporary with some practical improvements like insulation and radiant heat floors in the mudroom. The entrance to the home was given the attention it deserved with gorgeous grasscloth wallpaper, new lighting and furnishings and a more sophisticated paint palette. Repairs were also made to the grand front and screen doors.
We created a beautiful and practical stencil on the staircase. The steps were very shallow and many had fallen down the stairs, so we added sand to porch and patio paint for a clever texture and attractive grip factor to the stencil.
The mudroom was updated with a new fully insulated door, insulation in the room itself as well as radiant heat floors under the new volcanic tile, which made all the difference in the world!
We also furnished, accessorized and painted to create office space and a seating area for her… And then did the same to create office space for him.
