Eclectic Modern Bohemian Brownstone Apartment
A Brooklyn mother of two desired an upgrade in her new Brownstone apartment. The kitchen redesign incorporated the existing hutch believed to be original to the building. We preserved the beautiful wood floors, created additional kitchen storage with an island, and added lighting.The original cast-iron tub was refinished to keep charm in the master bathroom. We used a swiss cross wall tile to create a classic, but interesting look.
Client's thoughts on the master bedroom wallpaper: “I loved the process of looking at this artist’s portfolio of patterns and allowing myself to be drawn into something that surprises me. It’s kind of glam. It’s NOT neutral and not something I thought would be for me. I love it so much and it’s a surprising detail. It allows for me to recognize parts of me that still surprise me.”
