What We Do

We begin with our clients’ visions and then translate them into refined interior concepts through a personalized design process. The results are spaces which not only respond to clients’ needs, but also exceed their expectations and meet the highest standard of design.

We are our clients’ advocates throughout construction, watching closely over even the smallest details. We are there to make sure that the project is completed as planned, and to provide whatever support our clients need.

We welcome projects both small and large. At mercer INTERIOR™, what matters most is the opportunity to collaborate with clients in creating environments that reflect their own sense of self and style.

Elizabeth Mercer Aurandt, DSA

After graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), Elizabeth Mercer Aurandt, DSA moved to New York City to begin her design career in the jewelry and fashion industry. She quickly progressed from bench work to management, working most recently for Lisa Jenks Ltd as their Director of Production and Distribution.

In 1999 she was given the opportunity to redesign the production space of LJL. She rapidly developed her talent for designing spaces during that process, and brought about remarkable improvements in the production space’s efficiency and aesthetic. Elizabeth then changed her career to interior and product design, and mercer iNDUSTRY, LLC was born. Its first division is mercer INTERIOR™, which has designed a wide range of spaces, from offices, to apartments, to homes.

Currently in the works is mercer MADE, a line of home accessories and furniture that draws inspiration from Elizabeth’s background in metalwork.
